Extended school offering

We offer:

7:45am - 8:30am, Breakfast Club, Monday-Friday
3.30pm - 5pm: After-school clubs, Monday-Friday, plus the Ad–Hoc extended care provision

5pm - 6pm: Twilight Sessions, Monday-Thursday.

After-school clubs

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities every day, enriching pupils' learning and experiences:

Boys, Girls' football
Street dance, Zumba, Capoeira, circus skills
Gymnastics
Cooking
Chess
STEAM and science
Lego
Arts & Craft, clay modelling
Music & Movement
Foreign languages
Textile creations

Payment & logistics

All payments must be made via your Scopay account. The charges for our after-school clubs are between £10 and £15 per session depending on the activity chosen.

Children who receive pupil premium have 50% discount on all school clubs.

Parents who pay by Childcare Vouchers or Tax Free Credit will need to send confirmation of the amount paid to Ms Angela Volpe each time you make a payment. Once clubs are booked, payments are non-refundable.

There is no automatic renewal of clubs; you will need to wait for the booking system to re-open in order to make a selection for the new half-term. If you have not cleared your account from the previous term you will not be allowed to book future clubs until it is cleared.

Payments should be made at the beginning of the term before the club commences. Your child may not be able to join the club if evidence of the payment is not provided.

If you would like your child to take part in any of the after-school activities but feel that you may need an alternative payment plan, get in touch with Ms Volpe at extendedschools@whitehallparkschool.org.uk

Additional information

If your child attends a sports based after-school club, they will need to come into school with their PE kits.
Children are provided with a snack at 3:30. If, however, you wish to provide a snack for your child, ensure that it does not contain any nuts, as we are a nut-free school.
All children should be dressed appropriately for any weather (as they will still be using the outdoor facilities during the colder months). All children should have labelled clothing.

Extended Schools Terms and Conditions 2023-24

Just wanted to say how brilliant the after-school provision is at Whitehall Park School. At our last school it was impossible to get a place in the after school club! Having you and all the clubs plus the Ad Hoc provision makes a really big difference for us as a family, thank you!
