Absence and Lateness

Good attendance and punctuality are essential to the children’s success at school.

If days are regularly missed, then continuity of learning and progress are significantly hampered, as children find it difficult to catch up with missed work, and the learning will not be as embedded as it should be.

Reporting school absence

The school takes absence very seriously and follows up all non-attendance, every day.
If your child is sick or off school for any reason, you are required to report the absence to the school office by calling 0207 561 0113 or writing to office@whitehallparkschool.org.uk giving the reason for the absence.
