Funding and fees for extras

From September 2025, the government has extended funding for 30 hours of childcare a week, across 38 weeks.

In our nursery, these hours can be stretched in a flexible manner to suit your needs across the full 48 weeks we will be open (for example 23.75 hours per week, for 48 weeks).

Extras

The government funding is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional services. Therefore, Breakfast club, lunch and after-school clubs are not included in the free hours, and will be charged extra. Please see more details in the application from below.

The extra time or services not covered by the funded hours will be charged in line with Islington Council’s charging policy and will depend on the individual family situations and their earnings.

Uniform

Nursery pupils are expected to wear light blue polo t-shirt with school logo and unbranded navy sweatshirt and joggers. This is to help them getting used to wearing a uniform in the years to come.
