Application and funding

If your child only attends the morning or afternoon sessions, but you need additional hours occasionally, or if you are only entitled to 15 free hours and need more time in care, the extra hours will be charged at £5.50 per hour. We provide a hot lunch to children as part of our provision; we ask families for a voluntary contribution to cover the lunch period, if they are in a position to do so, as this directly supports our school.

Extras

Government funding is ringfenced to deliver high-quality, core learning for your child. Enriching activities like our breakfast club and after-school clubs are available and accessible and are offered as additional, chargeable services to extend your child's day.

The extra time or services not covered by the funded hours will be charged in line with Islington Council’s charging policy and will depend on the individual family situations and their earnings. For information about applying for funded entitlements, visit Free Childcare for Working Parents.

Uniform

Nursery pupils are expected to wear light blue polo t-shirt with school logo and unbranded navy sweatshirt and joggers. This is to help them getting used to wearing a uniform in the years to come, and foster a sense of belonging and equality.
