Breaking the fast together: Iftar 2025
For the third year in a row, Whitehall Park School organised a community Iftar, bringing together all families.
The word "iftar" refers to the food Muslims end their fast with, during the month of Ramadan. All school families are invited to gather, bring and share food, building community and getting to know one another, as well as understanding of each other's cultures and beliefs.
More than 100 people came to join in the fun, with one parents saying: "What an incredible evening spent enjoying delicious food and great company to break our fast together! Huge thanks to the amazing WPS staff for organizing this memorable gathering. From a variety of delicious dishes to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, everything was perfect. Here’s to more beautiful moments like this, bringing our community together!"
Another participant said: "It is always lovely to see families of all faiths coming together to celebrate Ramadan, sharing amazing food and good time. Events like this makes me so happy and proud to be part of Whitehall Park School community."
