Islington Cricket Tournament

On Tuesday afternoon, a team of 8 girls and a team of 8 boys took part in the Year 5/6 Islington Cricket Tournament. It was a tough competition in both sections, but both teams showed great determination and kept pushing until the final ball.

With players hitting impressive 4s and 6s, every game was close and competitive. We made the decision to take a majority Year 5 squad, and what an experience it was for them to go up against the year 6's!

Despite their fantastic efforts, both teams narrowly missed out on the finals, finishing 3rd in their respective groups. Well done to all the pupils involved, we'll get the gold next time!
